They take coffee seriously, expect a hipster vibe with great music. Enjoy the carefully crafted coffee after enjoying some art as well at Ásmundarsalur.

Sandholt

This was one of my favorite for baked goods, breakfast, and coffee. Also, the clean modern design and aesthetic was pretty especially for taking some photos for Instagram. They also serve sandwiches and have organic wine as well. I only tried the coffee of course and it was superb.

Skool Beans Cafe

It is located you got that right in a converted yellow school bus. This is located in Vik so whether you stay nearby in Vik to explore the South Coast of Iceland or you are visiting for the day it is a must visit stop. It was one of the best lattes I had and so creatively done. They also sell jewelry and other souvenirs perfect for you to take home. The owner roasts all her own coffee in town and you may get lucky to meet her cat that owns his space here  “Jeffarious Edward”. The hot cocoa is something not to be missed as well, but I got a mocha to have the best of both.
